Final Impression of The Absolutley True Diary of a Part-Time Indian
I thought the book was over all good. There were really good parts and other parts I didn't like. I think the author did a really good job at making Junior seem like a normal teenager. It was a little akward reading what Junior was thinking and what he did in his free time but that was what it makes him seem like a real teenager. I thought that his pictures that he drew were good and all of them were funnny. One of my favorite parts was the story of Stupid Horse. It was funny how it seemed like everyone was in disbalief when it kept showing up after all the stuff that happened with it. One of my favorite cartoons that Junior drew was the one when he makes fun of his new geology teacher Mr. Dodge. And he says, "Which of these pyrotechnic gieants will explode first." That gave me a good laugh.
Fight between Junior and Rodger

When Junior first punched Rodger I thought Rodger would beat up Junior till he was almost dead. But I couldn't believe it when he said, "Your crazy man" and just walked away. It was shocking to me because most times when you get punched you want to punch the person back to get even. Did Rodger not punch him back because he didn't like to get into fights or because Junior was a Native American he would kill him? It was also strange how none of Rodgers friends got in on the action and they just stood their with their mouths open not believing what they were seeing. I wonder what they were thinking when they saw their friend and leader get punched and saw him go down.
Penelope and Junior
I've always wonder if Penelope and Junior were going out or what? Because it never really says but it does say that they kiss. It doesn't seem like their going out because it doesn't mention her alot after the night where they went out to eat and Rodger gave Junior a ride back to the rez. Did Penelope ever go out to the rez to see where Junior lives at? And it seems kind of weird how they had a thing going on after Junior discovered her throwing up in the bathroom at school. Was it because of what he said to her or something else the author doesn't tell us?

Rowdy
I think Rowdy is one of the most unpredictable teenagers I have ever read about in a book. He can be very nice to Junior and then he can go off on him the next second. He has very big mood swings for a guy. He always seems to treat people very badly except for his best friend Junior and judges people very quickly before meeting them. I wonder if its because of how his dad treats him at home and that hes growing up in a rough environment.
First Impression of Junior
My first impression of Junior was not that of a regular teenager. He does have some problems with his brain since he was born and is slow at learning. But the stuff he talks about is not what me and my friends usually talk about. He is very open which is opposite of me and loves to draw cartoons. He spends most of his time drawing and sitting in his room unlike me who is always doing something and outside alot.

Ending of the Tomorrow, When the War Began
I think the ending of the book was really good because it doesn't leave you completely hanging there but makes you wonder what will happen in the next novel of the book. I am definitely going to read the next novel in the series of the books. I want to find out what happens to the teenagers that are now living in isolation after their country was invaded by enemy forces.
